‘Paridhanam-2026’: A Captivating Confluence of Students’ Talent and Creativity

Gurugram: SGT University’s School of Design hosted its annual flagship fashion event, ‘Paridhanam-2026’, showcasing the creativity, technical expertise, and innovative design capabilities of its students. The fashion show featured collections by 15 student designers, who presented their original creations. The collections, characterised by diverse themes, contemporary aesthetics, exquisite craftsmanship, and innovative experimentation, effectively reflected the talent, dedication, and hard work of the students.

‘Paridhanam’ is the flagship annual fashion event of the School of Design, providing students with a platform to transform their creative ideas and design concepts into wearable art. The event also offers them valuable exposure to the professional environment and working practices of the fashion industry.

To give the fashion show a professional runway experience, 10 professional models also participated in the event. Students from various departments joined the runway presentations as models, further showcasing their talent and confidence. The runway presentation and choreography were directed by Dr. Bhuvnesh, who played an important role in enhancing the students’ performances by training them in professional ramp walking, stage presence, and show choreography.

‘Paridhanam-2026’ was organised under the guidance of Dr. Sukhvir Singh Beniwal, Professor and Dean, School of Design, who also led the event as its Convener. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Tamanna Sharma and Ms. Vani Valecha. The dedicated efforts of the entire School of Design team contributed significantly to the successful organisation of the event.

‘Paridhanam’ provided students with a valuable opportunity to showcase their artistic vision and technical expertise while gaining practical exposure to the professional functioning of the fashion industry.

The event concluded with an award distribution ceremony.
