Gurugram, 8 July. SGT University organized the inaugural lecture under the banner of SGT university Study Circle on 6 July 2026, centred on the thought-provoking theme ‘Our contribution in Viksit Bharat’.
The address was delivered by Honourable Shri Ramlal Ji, Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Pramukh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, whose insightful deliberation highlighted the indispensable role of every citizen in shaping a Viksit Bharat. Emphasising that nation-building is a shared responsibility, he underscored the importance of individual contribution, social harmony and a nation-first mindset. His inspiring address encouraged the audience to reflect on how their everyday actions, professional excellence and commitment to society can collectively contribute towards building a stronger, self-reliant, and developed Bharat.
The programme was graced by the august presence of Padma Bushan Shri Ram Bahadur Rai Ji, Honourable Chancellor, SGT University, who also shared his inspiring thoughts with the audience. He underscored the significance of establishing a Study Circle within the University as a vibrant platform for intellectual engagement, continuous learning, meaningful dialogue, and the cultivation of informed and socially responsible citizens. Today’s lecture was the inaugural talk by Shri Ramlal Ji in the same. Rai Sir’s reflections reinforced the importance of nurturing a culture of reading, critical inquiry, and constructive discussion in higher education.
The event was also attended by Shri Manmohan Singh Chawla, Honourable Managing Trustee, SGT University; Shri Raj Kumar Bhatia, Member, Governing Body, SGT University; and Prof. (Dr.) B. J. Rao, Esteemed Vice-Chancellor, SGT University; along with university officials and faculty members.
The inaugural lecture marked a meaningful beginning to the SGT university Swadhyay Mandal, reaffirming the University’s commitment to fostering intellectual discourse, encouraging thoughtful engagement with national issues, and preparing socially conscious leaders for a developed India.
