Mega Oral Health Camp organised by Dental Science Faculty of SGTU

Gurugram. Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University Organised Mega Oral Health Camp at SB Packaging Pvt. Ltd. Delhi Rohtak Corridor, Sampla, Haryana. Continuing its mission of community welfare and accessible healthcare, the team led by Dr. Priyanka successfully screened, advised and treated around 150 factory workers from the available 500 people at the unit.
Given the demanding nature of industrial environments, the camp heavily focused on preventive oral care and lifestyle modifications. Doctors conducted intensive counseling sessions, motivating workers to discontinue harmful habits like tobacco chewing and smoking, which pose severe risks of oral cancer. The team emphasized the critical link between oral hygiene and systemic health, explaining how poor oral care can aggravate conditions like diabetes and heart disease. To ensure continuous care, all workers and their families were also referred to the Dental Clinics at the SGT University Gurgaon campus for remaining all basic and advanced, affordable dental treatments.
