42nd Free Eye Care and Medical Camp to Be Held on July 15 in Memory of Atmaram Kokra

Bhiwani, 15 July : Bhiwani Parivar Maitri Sangh (BPMS), one of North India’s leading social and Sanatani organisations dedicated to humanitarian service, will organise its 42nd Free Cataract Surgery (with IOL Lens Implantation) and Medical Camp on Wednesday, July 15, in the sacred memory of renowned social worker and ‘Dehdani’ (Body Donor) Late Shri Atmaram Kokra. The camp is being organised with the support of the Kokra family.
The camp will be held at Shri Krishna Pranami Mandir, near Rohtak Gate, Bhiwani, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
BPMS President, acclaimed international poet, and noted anchor Rajesh Chetan said that the organisation was founded on the guiding principle, “Service to Humanity is Service to God.” He added that BPMS has been conducting free eye and medical camps continuously for the past 41 weeks, extending assistance to thousands of underprivileged and needy patients suffering from eye ailments, cancer, and other illnesses. Beneficiaries have come not only from Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts but also from across Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
Rajesh Chetan informed that a team of senior ophthalmologists from Venu Eye Hospital & Research Centre, New Delhi, will examine patients with eye disorders during the camp. A medical team from the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi, will also screen suspected cancer patients and provide consultations for other medical conditions.
He further stated that BPMS bears the complete cost of treatment for patients selected for cataract surgery, including travel to and from Delhi, meals, spectacles, and a 15-day supply of medicines, all provided free of charge.
Rajesh Chetan said the camps have earned growing credibility, trust, and popularity owing to the organisation’s high standards of service, expert medical care, and the availability of quality medicines, enabling BPMS to continue its mission of serving those in need.
